The Legacy series celebrates Taylor s fiftieth anniversary in spectacular fashion. The 5 models in this series are reissues of successful models from the brand s past, with small tweaks here and there.

The Legacy 8-Series guitars, including this 855e 12-string, are updated versions of the original Indian Rosewood Sitka Spruce guitars from Taylor s early days. The exceptionally clear and detailed sound of this 855e is instantly recognizable: this is a Taylor through and through! The Jumbo body shape provides extra body and detail in the low end, especially when strumming. Thanks to the old school X-bracing, this 855e sounds even more like the original. The Moustache bridge has also returned to the Jumbo models. This 12-string is equipped with an LR Baggs VTC Element and comes with a luxurious Taylor Hardshell case.
