Strymon Riverside Multistage Drive

The Strymon Riverside is an incredibly musical, rich overdrive with some very ingenious features. As expected, you have control over Drive, Bass, Middle, Treble and Volume, but on top of that you can opt for an extra mid-push. A smart addition is also the Favorite switch: here you can save your favorite overdrive sound, so that you can immediately call it up at any time. Extremely useful as a lead boost, for example: give your favorite setting a dot of extra mids and volume and you can play your most beautiful solo at the touch of a footswitch. On the back of the pedal you will also find an extra boost input – which you can control with an external footswitch – and an Expression pedal input for even more control. You can also control the Riverside via Midi with a special Strymon Midi-EXP cable (sold separately). But most importantly, the Strymon Riverside sounds simply fantastic in every conceivable setting!
