And when you connect the Milkman Creamer for the first time, you immediately understand what this means. This amp has the sparkle and the spank of a Blackface Princeton Reverb and the dynamic range – including the famous midrange bark of a Tweed amp. So the best of both worlds and it s a real pleasure to play on this 1×12 combo. You have to feel it to believe it! The Creamer is hand-wired and has everything you want from a vintage amp but with the reliability, power and portability of a modern combo. And that s not all, because in addition to the fact that the amplifier itself already sounds amazing, it also contains one of the most beautiful reverb and tremolo circuits we ve ever heard. In addition, you can choose to replace the standard 6V6 tubes with a set of 6L6 tubes to get more bass and headroom in your sound, as well as to tame the mids somewhat. And you can do all this without rebiasing: you just switch the switch on the back of the amp from 6V6 to 6L6 and vice versa. What an amp!
