The Sterling Darkray combines the already fantastic sound of the Stingray model with the Alpha and Omega Preamps from Darkglass. You read that correctly: these are built into the bass! The Alpha Preamp is a fat overdrive with pronounced mids, with which you can effortlessly blast through any (rock) mix. The Omega Preamp is a rough fuzz with a fierce bite in the highs. The illuminated LED ring allows you to switch effortlessly between both preamps and the two-band EQ allows you to adjust your sound to your liking in no time. And without pedals!

Besides the innovative Darkglass Preamps, the Sterling Darkray is of course also just an awesome bass. The neck is made of roasted maple for optimal stability and the body is made of Nyatoh, a warm-sounding wood type full of sustain. Furthermore, the Darkray is equipped with cool Open-Gear Tuners and a rocking H-1 Alnico Humbucker Pickup. Comes with Deluxe Gigbag.
